Geo-Xergy has completed a wide variety of geothermal heating and cooling systems, or GeoExchange systems as they are sometimes referred to. The projects range from single family homes to systems for office buildings and schools, and district systems that take advantage of waste heat rejected from large facilities such as hockey arenas and commercial buildings.
Many projects begin with a feasibility study in which the heating, cooling and hot water requirements must be determined with a reasonable degree of accuracy to determine how much energy is needed to maintain a comfortable environment over a year. Geological information and testing allows us to determine the capacity of the ground to absorb, store and give up energy.
Typical projects that have been completed by Geo-Xergy are described on the links on this page.
