The best system design is only as good as the installation. Pre-construction site meetings help ensure everyone involved in the construction of a mechanical system or installation of a ground heat exchanger (GHX) has a complete understanding of the importance of their work.

Drawings, specifications and testing protocols describing quality control measures to be followed during construction are important for contractors building a mechanical system and GHX for a facility. Site inspections of the GHX and mechanical system during construction are required for accountability and for a quality installation.
