Hybrid systems

There is an unfortunate perception about GeoExchange™ systems. That is that the cost of the system is too great and it will never pay for itself.

That perception is very often simply not true.

By paying careful attention to the building simulation in the early stages of the design process, and looking for ways to transfer energy with a building or to other nearby buildings, taking advantage of thermal energy storage, optimizing the use of the site and geology and using other energy sources that have low capital cost to supplement the operation of the GHX, the capital cost of a GeoExchange™ system can be significantly reduced.

This can only be done by truly implementing an integrated design process in which Geo-Xergy works in close collaboration with you and your design team to find and take advantage of all the opportunities of the site, the building design and how the building will be used.
